Questions
What happens after my 10 free hours?
Reading carries on with Edge voices, free and with no hour limit. The Kokoro hours come back at the start of each month.
How does my own key work?
Paste an OpenRouter or Speechify key in Settings. Your listening is then billed by that provider, at its own price, with no monthly cap on our side. The key is stored encrypted and you can remove it at any time.
Is there a limit?
For everyone, own key included, about 5 hours of listening a day at most, to protect the service.
Do I need a credit card?
No. An account is all you need.
